Learn about
the enormous
opportunities

expected
closings and
realignments
of military
bases in in
other states
can offer to
Vandenberg
Air Force
Base.

can help by
distributing
literature in your community,
neighborhood
or workplace. Invite
members of the
Friends of
Vandenberg to
speak at your club
or civic
organization.
Display the posters
and counter cards in
your office or
business. Place a
bumper sticker on
your car.

Put the Friends
of Vandenberg message
on your website.

Send letters of
thanks to our troops
and go out and
welcome them back
when they come home.
Attend the many
military events
during the year and
show your
appreciation to the
men and women of our
military who
continue to put
their lives on the
line for you.

Send a clear message
to your elected
representatives in
Washington,
Sacramento and in
the counties of
Santa Barbara
and San Luis Obispo.
Let them know
what the value of
keeping our bases open
and expanding
Vandenberg Air
Force is to
the local economy
and to you
personally.
